Day 1 Marrakech — High Atlas Mountains — Ait Ben Haddou — Dades Valley

Our 4 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech begins by crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. We’ll make stops for panoramic photos before arriving at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a stunning fortified village. After a traditional lunch, we continue through the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to reach the lush Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight in a premium handpicked hotel

Day 2 Dades Valley — Tinghir — Todra Gorges — Merzouga Desert

Today is all about the transition from mountains to sand. We explore the dramatic Todra Gorges, where 300-meter cliffs tower over the river. We then travel through Berber villages toward Merzouga. Upon arrival, you’ll trade the vehicle for a camel caravan and trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes just in time for a breathtaking sunset. Your night is spent under a canopy of stars at a luxury desert camp with traditional dinner and music.

Day 3 Exploring the Heart of the Sahara

Wake up to a desert sunrise before a day of exploration. We’ll visit the last nomad families of the Sahara, the village of Khamlia to experience the soul-stirring Gnawa music, a delicious lunch served as Berber pizza, and perhaps try sandboarding on the dunes. Day 4: Merzouga to Marrakech

After a final desert breakfast, we begin our return journey. We’ll take a different route back, stopping in the vibrant town of Rissani (known for its traditional market) and the desert gateway of Ouarzazate.
